What is stock photography?
Stock photography is photography or other imagery of common landmarks, concepts, people, and events which can be used for a variety of commercial and non-commercial purposes. ^What does royalty-free mean?
The Royalty Free Digital Stock Photography is a concept where user of the images does not have to pay any royalty for repeated use of the images. The buyer does not own the copyright of the images but have bought out the right to use the images legally without further payments or interruption from the seller. These images cannot be resold or transferred but it offers a wide range of benefits; mainly lower pricing and convenience. ^How do I download stock photos from Askphotos?
Multimedia, medium, and high-resolution photos are available to anyone who subscribes to AskPhotos.com. To download one of these stock photos: ^1. Click the download link which is available below the photo on the details page. There are 3 DOWNLOAD links in total, each representing different photo resolution (these links are visible only when your membership active).
2. When you click the download link, new popup window will appear. Enter the 6 digit code you'll see in the graphic.
3. Choose where to save the photo.
Can I share my access information with someone in my office?
No, you are not permitted to share your access information with anyone! Please contact us at info@askphotos.com to discuss your options if interested in multi-seat license for small, medium or large business. ^Membership
How do I purchase membership at Askphotos?

In this case, please visit the Forgot Password page to have your access information sent to your email address. ^What credit cards do you accept?
We accept VISA , VISA Electron , MasterCard, EuroCard, Cirrus-Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Switch, SoloVisa and Discover. ^What other forms of payment do you accept?
In addition to credit cards we also accept payments made by bank transfer (wire). ^Do you store my credit card information?
No, we do not keep any credit card details. All transactions are processed by specialized 3rd party credit card processors. ^Do you offer refunds?
Because AskPhotos.com's images are digital and thus conveniently duplicable we cannot offer refunds. If you are thinking about joining, please browse the site and do some sample searches before making a decision. ^Photo Usage
What are the usage restrictions for Askphotos stock photos?
You are not permitted to: ^- give away or resell the photos themselves
- use our as part of an electronic template or application to create multiple impressions of a product (greeting cards, business cards, web page designs, etc.)
- use our as a service mark or trademark
Can I create an online gallery using your stock photos?
No, you are not permitted to create an online gallery using any stock photos from our site. ^Can I use these stock photos for my client?
Yes, you are permitted to use AskPhotos.com stock photos on behalf of your client or employer. You are not permitted to make the photos available to your client outside of a layout or product. ^Can I use your stock photos to create a website design?
Yes, you may use our stock photos on your own websites or your clients' websites, but only as design elements. ^Can I keep using stock photos after my subcription expires?
Yes, even after your membership is up you can continue to use the photos that you downloaded during the membership period. ^How many stock photos can I download per day?
You are permitted to download up to 50 stock photos per 24 hour period from AskPhotos.com during the term of your subscription. However, we recommend that you limit your downloads to only the photos you need. ^What sizes do your stock photos come in?
Subscription stock photos can be downloaded in three different sizes. Our photos come in Multimedia, Medium and Large resolution. You can see the exact specifications on the stock photo details page. Pay-per-download stock photos come in larger resolutions (super or even extreme). Again, see details page for more information. ^Does the image I download have a watermark on it?
Only comp images have watermarks on them. Photos downloaded with a purchased subscription (or pay-per-download) will not be watermarked. ^Lightboxes
What is lightbox?
Lightbox is used to store a group of photos that you would like to eventually download or share with a colleague. You can put photos into a Lightbox, and then later download the images from that Lightbox - or send the Lightbox link to a friend/colleague for them to review. ^What are the enhanced features available after registration?
If you register, you'll be able to create multiple lightboxes, move photos from lightbox to lightbox and order the photos by id or date (asc/desc). If you're not registered and signed in, the lightbox will store the photos only during the period you're online (until session expires). ^Can I create/delete a Lightbox?
Yes, you can create/delete lightboxes when registered and signed in. ^How do I add/remove stock photos to/from Lightbox?
Adding - All you need to do is to click the Lightbox link below the thumbnail image. If signed in, you'll be able to choose the lightbox where to save the selected stock photo.Removing - Click the remove button below the thumbnail in the lightbox. If signed in, you'll need to check the actual photos you want to remove and then click the remove button in the lightbox. ^
